How it works
- A passkey is a key pair your device or password manager makes for this site. Creating one is the whole sign-up; signing in is a fingerprint, face or PIN prompt.
- One vote per account per poll. Change it any time until the poll closes. Results are always visible, here and on stream, so voting is out in the open.
- Honest caveat: a passkey proves you hold a key, not that you are one person. Someone with several devices or password managers can make several accounts. We cap new accounts per network per hour, and we may move to a Twitch sign-in if that ever matters.
Privacy
We store a random account id, the display name you choose (optional), your passkey’s public key and counter, your votes and when you cast them. No e-mail, no password, no IP address on disk. Signing in sets one cookie for the vote service. “Delete my account” removes the account and its votes right away. More in the privacy policy.
